5 ways meditation can affect your life

The type of meditation that I practice and work with is active and muscular, it’s all about engaging in the energy of your life in a new way. There are five outstanding ways that I believe meditation of this style can directly affect your life.

1) Time for Yourself is a Healing
So much of our lives are spent running around, doing things for others, helping family and friends, working for our bosses, creating things for other people. It can be an amazing healing simply to create 30 minutes or an hour each day that is just for you. No phone calls, no emails, no text messages – no task lists, no coffee runs, no dogs barking. Just you and you alone. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?

2) Your Personal Health & Beauty
My working with and releasing energy that you pick up in your space during the day, you can get weighed down by stuff that isn’t yours. This can impact your weight, your skin, the very health of your body. A radiant, healthy glow starts from within, and by meditating, you can create space to begin to heal yourself from within. And it’s ok to want to look and feel great!

3) Gain Insights and Clarity
When you begin to open up communication in meditation between your body and spirit, you can start to access your own answers. You can gain clarity on what your body needs, what your spirit desires. You can start to “see” and understand the energies that might be in the way of you having the life you dream of. It sounds hokey, but once you start to create space to have communication with yourself, you’ll find that you ALWAYS have the answer to whatever is perplexing you!

4) Engagement In Your Life
The style of meditation that I work with is not about detaching from the world and your life. It’s not about finding and getting lost in universal energies. It’s about tangibly bringing in more of your unique life force and engaging more fully in the life that you are creating for yourself each day. It’s about moving forward with free will and choosing the life you want to live! Meditation can help you to clear all the FID – Fear, Invalidation, Doubt from your life so you can take steps forward.

5) Creation and Destruction
If you’re looking to create something new – a relationship, a project, a creative endeavor like a piece of art, you need to create space for it to be “born”. You may need to end, or pull your energy out of old things in order to manifest new things. You may need to clear other people’s energy off your ability to be creative. Meditation can create a safe space for your to both create what is new – and destroy what’s out of date.
